Today, I tried to travel back to Sabak Bernam to visit my grandma for the holidays... did not make it though...
Reason?!?! got stuck in a massive kampung traffic after Kuala Selangor... Haven't even reach Tanjung Karang...
The traffic was that bad... i decided to give my grandma a call and tell her that i wouldn't be making it in that traffic... What's worse, on my way earlier, was kinda dozing off in between the slow traffic... Paid a price after i "KISSED" into a Myvi's backside...
Damage was kept at minimal as i managed to avoid a direct hit by swerving to the left, alas, still not enough thus banging slightly into it...
Funnier? my cars damage was worse than the Myvi's... haih, What a Day!!!
Reminder: Don't sleep & drive...

16th Aug - Tuesday
It was quite an uneventful day where i actually finished my work earlier than expected... Knowing that i will be catching the ever famous Douglas Lim & his henchmen later that night kinda kept me excited for the whole day...
The anticipation of what the show might dish out considering that the trio of M.A.C.C.; comprises of prominent stand up comedian "Douglas Lim", "Kuah Jen Han", and "Poon Chee Ho", is always as funny as hell...
Whats more interesting is that, they have a new addition to their team, "Dr. Jason", whom literally is a doctor by profession turned comedian... Imagine that! ahahhaa...
The show was interesting as usual, and i decided to buy a poster of the guys and get their autographs... Who knows, they will be famous enough one day to make me a millionaire buy selling away their posters... HAHAHa...
On the same weekend, my family & I traveled back to Sabak Bernam to visit my grandma and for prayers... On the way, we stopped by a restaurant for dinner... to our amazement, we saw this huge gigantic "Toman" fish...bout 3 feet perhaps in length...
In the other aquarium, holds fresh oyster the size of my palm... i couldnt resist, so i had to order one, but to my disappointment, it was fresh water oysters...
The ones which doesnt have the distinct sea water sweetness to it and not to mention the texture which was chewy like rubber unlike the sea water oysters which has a fresh sweetness & a crunchy texture...
Once we arrived at our grandma's village, we set to get the prayers done and this food presentation was for the gods...
Arent all the "Ang Ku's", "Huat Ker's", and fruits look scrumptious? hehehe... Thats all for now folks....

How many times have we ever eaten anything at all and wondered where does it come from? or How does it look like when it was raw?
The truth is, most of the time, we just ate to our hearts content and forget about the origin of the product... For most of us, it doesn't even occur to us that the original looks of the item could be somewhat inedible at a glance...
Basically, we do not bother to find out.... hahaha
Here are some nuts in their original form before they were harvested, in fact, how they even look like when they were still attached to the trees....
A) Almonds
- Best used for baking...
i.e. Cakes, muffins, bread
- Almond Milk Tea...
B) Cashews
- Best used as condiments...
i.e. Chinese Glutinous Rice Dumplings (Zhong Zhi), Stir Fried Vegetable dishes, Pork Knuckle Stew...
- Coffee Roasted Chestnuts, are one of the best liked favorites amongst the Chinese community...
D) Hazelnuts
